We decided to leave the UK in 2003 and spent the following 12 months backpacking around the world. France was always our first choice of countries in which to settle and so, in 2005, we sold our home in the UK and bought a farm complex here in the Correze. The first 18 months were spent creating our holiday accommodation then we set up a small building business to fund the next part of our dream. We recently finished renovating our house and barn and are now able to offer B&B.
We’ve travelled, visited and spent holidays in around 50 countries staying in tents, campervans, wooden shacks and even the occasional 4* hotel! We feel we’ve a good idea what people expect from holiday accommodation and look forward offering our guests a enjoyable experience here in the Correze.
'10 out 10 for everything - a beautiful B&B in a beautiful location with a beautiful pair of hosts (Jackie & Dave) - wish we had stayed for a week.'
‘The location was perfect. It was the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. The owners were great and could not do enough for you.
Children have already asked when we are going back.’
‘Beautiful setting. Lovely home. Tasty breakfast with homemade jams. They went out of their way to help, setting up a travel cot for our little one, making sure the blackout blinds were down to help us all have a lie-in and helping with the inevitable luggage that accompanies two kids under 4!’
‘The peace, the excellent standard of accommodation, the beautiful house, the welcoming and friendly hosts, the lovely breakfast...... Excellent value for money.
We would love to return to this lovely B&B for a longer stay - maybe in one of the gites next time so that we can explore the area.’
‘The swimming pool, the gardens and the children were able to play football if they wished. The price the owners are charging is too little for this gem of a property. The standards of the family room and bathroom are extremely high. Beautiful surroundings and safe for children. Lovely to sit by the pool while the children played.’
